With a mixture of light, helpful Theological concepts and practical suggestions for our Christian walks with God, this course can change your life and the way you view God. This is absolutely invaluable content for all Christians, new or experienced; this can help us understand who God really is and why He does certain things.

This content is ideal for exploring by yourself, in your prayer group, small group or Bible study group. We encourage you to use these videos - we have found this knowledge so enriching, we want to share it with you.

Session 1:

In this session, we learn about different types of love in the Greek Bible (agape and philio) and see how they can affect our understanding of God and the New Testament. We will also briefly cover the five (main) strands of theology, with a particular focus on relational theology.

Alternatively, view session 1 on Facebook.

Session 2:

In this session, we learn about how Jesus is the ultimate example of agape love. We also examine how the Bible clearly evidences God's desire for a relationship with each of us, in the same way that the Trinity experiences perichoresis.

Alternatively, view session 2 on Facebook.

Session 3:

In this session, we learn about what Jesus tells us about ways we can love God, our neighbours, our enemies, and other disciples. This affects what we believe and therefore how we behave.

Alternatively, view session 3 on Facebook.

Session 4:

Alternatively, view session 4 on Facebook.

Session 5:

What is a human made of? This feels like a big question and can get us in a bit of a muddle.

The Bible tells us God is love. When we read the Bible, we might have some questions about what that means - particularly when it comes to violent or generally puzzling passages. It's normal to wonder about these things. So, it's good to study them and ask for God's help to understand them! Hopefully, some of the questions below will help us understand that - even when reading some tricky Biblical accounts - the Bible is always telling us that God is love.

God is Love

Arielle Redman sets the foundation for a new series: God is love.

Listen: God is Love

If God is love…

What about violence?

Arielle gives us the second part of her series on God being love and starts to approach the issue of violence in the Bible=

Listen: If God is love, what about violence? If God is love…

Why did God create us with the possibility of evil?

Arielle continues her series on the love of God by asking the question "Why did God create us with the possibility of evil?"

Listen: Why did God create us with the possibility of evil?

If God is love...

What about the flood?

The tricky flood account makes many of us ask questions about the God of love. Let's look at it together...

Listen: What about the flood?

If God is love...

What about Tough Choices?

Is God still love in the Bible when he asks Abraham to kill his only son in a sacrifice to God? This is one very tough choice!

Listen: Tough Choices

If God is love...

Should We Wrestle With God?

A wrestling match between Jacob and God tells us a surprising amount about God's character!
