Luke's gospel has two distinct and clear themes running through its pages - that of the Holy Spirit and of the marginalised - in fact God is a God of the marginalised and Jesus came to minister to them in particular. So as Christians we should also remember the marginalised.
Today we see God ministering to the elderly and the barren, and we also see the first family in Luke's gospel filled with the Spirit!
