Luke's gospel has two distinct and clear themes running through its pages - that of the Holy Spirit and of the marginalised - in fact God is a God of the marginalised and Jesus came to minister to them in particular. So as Christians we should also remember the marginalised.
Today we encounter with Jesus a very mixed bag of people with all sorts of strikes against them and we learn that however inadequate or unworthy you feel, Jesus wants to walk with you!
