Possibly no other book in the bible has faced as much criticism and mockery from those whose religion is atheism, perhaps because the idea of a creator God is so offensive to them and if they can discredit the beginning of the Bible it will in some way discredit it all. In this series we will read this important first book, not as a scientific text but as a work of theology and we will discover what God wants us to know. In this message we discuss the Flood and answer questions about the reality of this event and why God would do such a thing. We talk about what was accomplished by the flood and the reality of the trauma faced by Noah and his family.
