The Ark offers a warm welcome to students as they study in our glorious city. The church backs on to York St John University so is a great place to come and meet with God and his people.

Being in the city centre, it is also a good place for York University students to get to, and each year we welcome those who want to be part of a family and participate in powerful contemporary worship and hear great biblical teaching.

As part of our services we regularly offer prayer for those in need and if you are facing pressure or are sick, come along and we will pray the prayer of faith over you!

Our preaching programme is structured, inspiring, relevant and biblical - God will speak to you as you hear it. Also, if you miss a week you can catch up online with our catalogue of MP3's, listened to by many hundreds of people each week.

Our membership of the Ground Level Network of churches, the Evangelical Alliance and commitment to York's One Voice network of churches  ensures  you will be fellowshipping in a group that are  accountable, orthodox and at the centre of what God is doing in the city. Try us out and you will find that you really meet with God at the Ark!
