The Ark offers a warm welcome to students as they study in our glorious city. A number 4 bus takes you into Foxwood and leaves you with a short walk to the community centre.

Each year we welcome students who want to be part of a family and participate in powerful contemporary worship and hear great biblical teaching.

As part of our services we regularly offer prayer for those in need and if you are facing pressure or are sick, come along and we will pray the prayer of faith over you!

Our preaching programme is structured, inspiring, relevant and biblical - God will speak to you as you hear it. Also, if you miss a week you can catch up online with our catalogue of MP3's, listened to by many hundreds of people each week.

Our theology is defined by our relationship as an Ichthus Link Church and our commitment to the Evangelical Alliance and our involvement in York's One Voice network of churches  ensures  you will be fellowshipping in a group that are  accountable, orthodox and at the centre of what God is doing in the city. Try us out and you will find that you really meet with God at the Ark!
